Creamy Spinach Pasta

Perfect pasta idea - a creamy spinach dish, minimally seasoned, melting in your mouth.

I enjoy Spinach Creamy Pasta because it’s fast, cheap, and healthy. The creamy sauce perfectly complements the spinach leaves, enhancing the pasta’s flavor.

How to choose the best ingredients for Creamy Spinach Pasta

Spinach: It’s as fresh and tasty as baby leaf, with high nutritional value. The tender tails don’t need to be removed.

Tagliatelle pasta: Preferably Italian with 100% durum flour.

Olive oil extra virgin: Extra virgin olive oil comes from olives, while other olive oils are made from marc, which is what is left over after producing extra virgin olive oil. I personally prefer olive oils from Italy or Greece, but that’s just a suggestion.

Tips and Tricks for Spinach Creamy Pasta

  • If you don’t have fresh spinach, you can use frozen spinach as a replacement. Just make sure it’s not ground spinach, as it may be mixed with the sauce and not enhance all the taste qualities.
  • You can use any type of durum pasta. I prefer tagliatelle paired with whole spinach leaves.
  • In the vegan version, you add vegan cream.
  • If you don’t have white pepper, you can use black pepper as a substitute.
